The Australasian College of Tropical Medicine invites members of the Asia Pacific Travel Health Society to join their August Webinar on Wednesday, 24th August.
Prof Gerard Flaherty from Ireland will present on a return to travel during the COVID era.

This webinar will discuss the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on international travel and travel medicine practice and it will consider
current trends towards the resumption of international travel, particularly from a European perspective.
There will be a focus on how the pandemic may have permanently changed travel and traveller behaviour.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the Asian Pacific Travel Health Society’s 2020 Conference,
we hope you are well and safe in this difficult global pandemic.
It remains an extraordinary challenge to all of us as individuals, and to our profession,
and has profoundly affected the practice of travel medicine.
Let us continue to work and trust too that we can be part of the solution for recovery.

Welcome to the Asia Pacific Travel Health Society (APTHS)

The APTHS is a regional network of travel medicine practitioners that has now been promoting, advocating, and networking travel health in the Asia-Pacific region for 20 years.

International and regional travel and tourist arrivals are growing most rapidly in the Asia-Pacific Region. This brisk growth in global mobility brings with it increasing challenges and health risks for travelers and host populations alike.

We seek to educate travel-health practitioners, the travel industry, and the traveling public, to maximize the benefits and to minimize the risks of travel for all.
