Fee for participants includes a 3 hour workshop with a coffee break.
This 3 hour workshop is primarily designed to meet the re-accreditation needs of authorised Yellow Fever vaccinators, however anyone with an interest can enroll. The workshop with cover updates in the current epidemiology of yellow fever including recent outbreaks, International Health Regulations, yellow fever vaccination adverse events (including contraindications and precautions to vaccination) and completing and issuing International Certificates of Vaccination and Prophylaxis and Exemption Certificates. Challenging cases will be presented and discussed with audience participation expected. The session will conclude with a short written examination. The workshop will have Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners CME endorsement, so will fulfill the re-accreditation requirements for NZ authorised YF vaccinators. It is hoped that it will also be accredited by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
